What is an artificial rain and how can it help save our planet?

 We are all aware of the dangers of global warming and how it’s harming our planet, but how can we help stop it? An innovative solution has been discovered that could help save us from this tragedy. It’s called an artificial rain and it is designed to have the same effect as if real rain was falling from the sky, but without causing any damage to the land or the surrounding environment and at a much cheaper cost than other available solutions. But what exactly is an artificial rain and how does it work? How do you build an artificial rain cloud?


How does this technology works?

There are two types of artificial rains that have been created by humans. The first type of artificial rain, which is called a mist sprinkler, breaks down water into microscopic droplets and then jets them out onto the ground at high speeds using a sprayer with a nozzle. The other type of artificial rain is called an impact sprinkler, where the droplets from the sprinkler hit the ground or anything near them. Both types create a desired effect on many factors such as: water conservation, oxygen levels in plants, wildlife habitat, control for wildfire threats and many more. There are several ways this could be used to protect our environment like by creating fire break zones before forest fires occur and decreasing air pollution through the production of de-humidified air.


Why should you go for artificial rain water harvesting systems?

With so many people living in water-scarce regions, many have to resort to desperate measures to find a sufficient amount of water. But not all regions have the same water scarcity problem. Areas with low rainfall need different strategies than those who experience a constant deluge of rain. It may seem counterintuitive, but areas that are naturally dry could benefit from getting wetter. Artificial Rain Systems should be utilized in areas with low rainfall so they don't face too much difficulty when it comes to finding enough water for the day.


How it works?


1. While the world’s glaciers are melting at a rate unprecedented in centuries, as much as 20% of global freshwater supply disappearing each year, flooding, droughts, desertification are increasing dramatically.

An international team of engineers led by Chilean Rodrigo Elizondo has recently unveiled their system for the first worldwide artificial rain making machine named SPARC (Solar Power-Artificial Rain Combiner). 3. This breakthrough provides great hope for both drought-stricken communities around the world and ultimately for Mother Earth herself who does not have a relief valve to reduce excess heat stored in her atmosphere and oceans.


Artificial rain chemicals

Artificial rain typically involves mixing a silver-iodide solution with a cloud of dry ice. The dry ice crystals are used to cool the mixture, which then turns into tiny droplets that mimic the size of natural atmospheric raindrops. This process lowers the surface temperature of an atmospheric cloud by 10 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius (18-38 degrees Fahrenheit) through expansion cooling, reducing its ability to release water vapor into the atmosphere.

The research indicates that artificially induced rainfall will have less impact on urban air quality than has been suggested, although there may be some residual localized impacts on air quality near chemical application sites.
